Good News...

...Well although they do not say the word "remission", my pet scan indicates that I can celebrate this ordeal as there is no evident traces of cancer.

On the other hand however, my blood count as not stabilized yet and the hematology are considering more plasma treatments in the near future.

The diabetes is also about to change as they told me that I will need day shots as well.

These problems are not going away and I have to get use to it.

Update

...Seen the doctor of neuphrology yesterday. It would appear that the treatments of Plasma Exchange worked to get my kidneys to work at 25% capacity. They may never get better...chances are slim.

All of this was caused from the Gemcitabine/Chemo that I had received according to the doctors.
For the HBP (high blood pressure) it is still high and managed by meds
For the Hemoglobin, the reading keeps dropping and I have to take injections to promote red cells to the bone marrow.

Time goes on...

...Well I do not have much to report other than I had a CT-PET scan today. I was nervous for 4 days prior, claustrophobic and such. All went well with a little stress. They showed me part of the scan without interpretation. Quite interesting to be treated like slices of bread.

My hemoglobin was at 102 on my hospital departure and I suspect that it has gone down as I am still very tired at times. My creatine on the other hand was higher than required but not alarming to my doctors as they have removed the lines for dialysis at this time. I'm on hospital watch with blood word every week.
