Your body should be looked at by a mechanic

...Tuesday, I was at the emergency ward where they did not find anything of value.

Now I'm bed ridden for the next 10 days with 38.5 avg. fever and bronchitis. This started when I went to the emergency and although, seven hours later, they ruled it out, I went to see my family doctor on Wednesday still having high fever and he was appalled that they didn't do anything. He pulled all the available information from the emergency unit as to not overlap where unnecessary.

So from the above title, your doctor is your best mechanic. He knows you inside out from day one. He's the one who consoled your bobo's where necessary and mostly, he has done a good job to keep you alive...kudos' Baha.

Night fever... not the song

...I've been having chills, fevers, etc for quite a bit now. Today, I found myself at the emergency unit with constant fevers of 38.5+. The chemo center advised me to get to the hospital if I have 3 readings of 38.5 or more within a set period.

After numerous tests, they sent me back home (7 hours later) telling me that with the Gemcitabine drug, the chances of one to have fever is 40% as well has having headaches 40%. I find myself having both.

I probably do not write as often as I should but I get bored and tired easily and I still have one month of this crap. (yes I did say that).

Sick of this journey...

...When is this ever going to finish. Again, I'm on week 3 and the symptoms are evident and annoying.

By the way it is the Chemo's fault if I have ballooned - it is called Imodis (miss-spelled).

On another note, the closer the end of my treatments rolls in, the closer I will be back at work.
