Today was my follow up with the Chemo Oncologist. Although all went well, I will now have a Port Line installed (under the skin at chest level, coin size apparatus for the infusion).
It was recommended that I undergo further Chemo treatments for a duration of 4-6 months. The formula is now different (3 weeks on, 1 week off).
I will have another CT scan and this time they will do the reference marker CA19-9. This will then be perpetual from all related cancer CT scan.
So next Friday I meet with the Radiation Oncologist... I wonder what he has to say!!!
